About

One of the youngest Umbraco MVPs worldwide

Bishal Tim is a .NET developer who started Umbraco as a student and grew into packages, talks and community work. He is one of the youngest Umbraco MVPs worldwide, and the first from Nepal.

I care about making Umbraco easier for the people who use it, whether that's an editor facing a confusing page or a student opening the backoffice for the first time. I build open-source packages, help out on the forum, and run meetups and workshops so others can get started.

The work

Packages, talks and an international team

I maintain open-source Umbraco and MCP packages, write for Skrift, and lead meetups and student workshops in Nepal. I work remotely in an international team, delivering websites and applications for clients in the Netherlands.

Hiking and the outdoors

When I'm away from the keyboard, I'm happiest outside. I love hiking and an outdoor lifestyle.

About the logo

Inspired by Minecraft's pixel style. Every letter is made of small square blocks, put together one at a time, the way I build things with code.
